Bird lifted his nose into the air, scenting for any other cats. Satisfied, he dropped into a crouch, eyes scavenging the ground for a den. A small burrow was to his right, although it was barely big enough for a chipmunk to fit into. With distaste, he swept a paw over it, clogging it with dirt. He lifted his gaze, still looking slowly left and right. Just then, a huge pine caught his eye. It seemed normal, but there was a gaping hollow space at its base. Bird darted towards it, noting that there was no smell of other animals, and a bed of soft needles littered the ground. "Perfect."
(This is where you can roleplay in or around the Blackbird's Eye Alliance's den. You can also journey outside of the den; e.g., go fishing in the River, or go hunting in the Hunting Grounds.)

(Yes, I know. But if every single alliance had sub-boards, it'd eventually be really clogged.)

A pure white she-cat followed after Bird. Her ghostly blue eyes scanning the area, "So Bird shall this be are new home?" The she-cat's voice was gentle, but had a mature tone to it.

"Yes, I believe so," mewed Bird to the kit. He padded slowly into the hollow tree, paws pressing down on the pine needles. "We can make nests soon."
(Peace, this is the thread for our den. We can do other things outside of the den, you know.)

Raven followed the other cats. She gave a flick of her tail in acknowledgement. Her amber gaze flew around the new camp unimpressed. "So this is it?" She asked. Raven shrugged her gray shoulders. "It's okay, I guess."

"You flatter me," mewed Bird, flicking his tail. "Don't forget- I'm the reason you have a den at all. If it wasn't for me, you'd be a pitiful little loner. Remember that." His tone was edged with glass.

Raven rolled her eyes though she knew he was right. "Whatever." She hissed under her breath. She unsheathed her claw and examined it. A little dull... She thought. Her father had taught her that keeping your claws sharp would keep you alive. Memories of the flames engulfed Raven's mind and made her flinch ever so slightly.

"You kits amuse me," Bird hissed. "Trust me, your claws will be sharp as tiny thorns till you become combatants. Then you'll need to worry about sharpening them." He sighed.

Spirit stayed close to Bird's side looking around. This was a major step up from Ghost's old home. Her Mother Star was a loner who could never find a place to stay and died finally of starvation. Ghost took her in and for a moon he keep her safe and feed. Then the old time finally gave into old age and passed away. Helplessly Spirit traveled endlessly tell Bird found her and took her in. She was very grateful and was will to give her life for the Tom in payment for giving her a life.

Bird picked up a wad of moss in his jaws. "There should be some brambles out there," he mewed, sticking his head out of the entrance. Sure enough, he saw a few brambles and sliced them off of the tree with his claws. "Here. We can make our nests with these." He began to weave together the brambles and moss.

Spirit watched with interested blue eyes. Bird was much older then the herself and was given the gift of experience and knowledge that came with it. Surly this only made her want to be a good loyal follower to Bird. The young kit hoped to make Bird proud.
