[purple]Oh baby I'm good[/purple] [teal] Her grey fur flashed in and out of the trees, it's silky flow created by the night winds. Flood sighed as she leapt up a tree, and started using the leaves to form a nest tucked safely into the branches. She felt so ... lost. Like she didn't belong here. Like she had been torn apart from her true home. Like ... her dreams had been shattered as if they were nothing, as if they had no meaning anymore. Wishing she knew the truth, Flood sighed again, then slipped down the tree to go for an evening stroll before she settled down in her nest for the night.
[white]"Who am I really? Tell me where I belong"[/white] Flood muttered to herself, as she walked through a thicket. Could she trust in her own heart? Or was she just part of some big plan?[/teal]

Raven sneered down at the younger cat with distaste. She was high up in a strong maple, above Flood, glaring amber daggers out of her eyes. The gray kit slid down to a lower branch and continued to watch her. "Well that really depends." Raven crowed back at the other she-cat's rhetorical question.
(When I saw the 'Oh baby I'm good' I felt like putting '... but I'm better' at the top of my post:P)

( Did I mention I feel like killing your character right now ? ) [purple] [/size][/move][/purple] [teal]Flood l rolled her eyes, unimpressed by this kit's stereotypic attitude, but she kept it to herself.

[white]"Why don't you make that muzzle of yours useful and go hunt mice for that precious little alliance of yours ... that is, if you can catch them."[/white]
Flood snickered, leaping up onto the branch Raven was on with great agility. [/teal] [purple][/center][/purple]

Cause everyone here...
Raven smiled at her, though it wasn't a friendly smile. "You first."She growled, the chesire smile still on her face. Raven dug her claws into the tree and pushed herself a few branches up. The branch was slim, and wouldn't hold the weight of another cat. Raven challenged her to come closer. "I prefer to hunt birds anyway, more of a challenge."
...gets caught up in the pleasure, of the pain.

"Suit yourself Mrs. Ravy" Flood teased, then bunched up her hind legs. She leapt up, and passed Raven's branch, landing on the topmost branch. Great skill was required to do this through. Before she died, Flood's mother had taught her to climb this well, and the basics of hunting and battling. "Oh. I thought you preferred to hunt challenging prey. Birds are as easy to catch as a snail!" Flood laughed. She leapt easily down the tree, landing lightly on her paws. "Well, are you a squirrel or a cat? Come on down and lets see you hunt!" she smirked.

Straight up... [/font][/left] Raven narrowed her eyes. "They way you are clambering around here, there won't be any prey within a hundred fox lengths." She said growling. The gray she-cat refused to move, and dug her claws into the branch. "And if it's so easy to catch one, let's see you do it." Flood's taunting was irritating her. Raven wished she could meet her in battle, with claws unsheathed, but Bird would probably not approve. ...what did you hope to learn about here?

What's this? Raven now wanted her to catch a bird? What a coward. "Alright Ravy, I'll catch one for the hungry kit that can't hunt herself" Flood mewed sarcastically, rolling her eyes. Spotting a sparrow, she instantly leapt up like a Skyclan cat, and fastened her claws firmly onto its wings. It squawked and fell to the ground with a thud, and was killed instantly. Flood landed lightly on the ground with one paw on the dead bird. She tossed it up at the grey and white child with a smirk, "There you go, Ravy. But next time I would prefer hunting challenging prey, birds as slow as turtles swimming in tar." she chuckled.

Kingdoms fall, the Earth revolves, the rain will come this spring...[/font]
Raven smiled. "Why do you call me kit, when your no older than myself?" The sparrow still left her unimpressed. Raven yanked out some of the feathers and dropped them upon Flood from her perch. She took a bite of it then left it laying there. Raven climbed up to the top limb. She then pushed off and landed gracefully on a pine limb a few feet away. She glared down at the other she-cat. She sat with her tail over her paws. Raven started humming an old tune she had heard her father and mother sing, before he died and she abandoned her. It was a two-leg song, but Raven loved it. ...and nothing she can say will change a thing.[/font]

[teal] Flood sat down, wrapping her tail around her paws. Ravy may be unimpressed, but she was probably just pretending, and couldn't hunt as good as Flood yet. [white]"Why, because you're acting like a spoiled kit. And anyway, you are a kit."[/white] she mewed, amused by the kit's question. I mean really, she should of known why anyway.[/teal]

I will learn to run with the big boys... [/font]
"Ditto." She murmured. Raven held her chin high and continued to hum her song. She didn't know what most of the words meant but she knew what it basically meant. Without a care in the world, this little Raven will sing her song. She began to quietly sing the lyrics.
"They had not been on the ship two weeks I'm sure it was not four When there came a leak, in the bottom of the ship And sank the for the rise no more."
I will learn to sink, and to swim [/font]

[teal] Obviously bored by the song, Flood parted her jaws to a quick yawn, then got up and leapt up the tree again. She leapt from one branch to another just like a squirrel, looking for something interesting.[/teal]

You got a nasty disposition... [/font]
Raven finished her song. She slid down the trunk of the tree. She thought rude thoughts in Flood's direction. I hope she falls and hits every branch on the way down was one of the nicest. "Clearly I am no match for your superior talent and charm."She said, her voice dripping in sarcasm and anger. "Would it please you, Your Magesty, if I were to leave you and go wallow in an extremely deep pit of self pity?" The gray she-cat growled.
...and no one really knows the reason why. [/font]

"That would be lovely dear!" Flood sung at Raven, still leaping across the tree tops.

The radio's playing` our sad song...[/font]
Raven growled. She was letting her temper get a hold of her. Raven's ebony claws unsheathed themselves and she dug them into the ground. "Why don't you stop taunting me and show me what you can really do."
...bye, bye baby.[/font]
